Ruqyah is the Islamic practice of seeking healing and protection through the recitation of Qur'anic verses and authentic duʿās, as taught by the Prophet ﷺ. It is a permissible, Sunnah-based form of spiritual support — not fortune-telling, not magic, and never involving anything outside the Qur'an and Sunnah.
Yes. Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrated that when the Messenger of Allah ﷺ fell ill, he would recite the Mu'awwidhat and blow over himself (Bukhari and Muslim). He ﷺ also taught Uthman ibn Abi al-As (may Allah be pleased with him) to place his hand on the place of pain, say "Bismillah" three times, then say seven times: "I seek refuge in Allah and His power from the evil of what I feel and fear" (Muslim).
Yes. Jibreel (peace be upon him) came to him during an illness and recited: "In the name of Allah I perform ruqyah for you, from everything that harms you, from the evil of every soul or envious eye. May Allah heal you. In the name of Allah I perform ruqyah for you" (Muslim). If the best of creation ﷺ received ruqyah, then needing it is no sign of weak faith, and receiving it from another is permissible.
We begin by listening — understanding your situation properly, without rushing. Then comes Qur'anic recitation and authentic duʿās, followed by practical guidance: what to recite, what habits to build, and what to avoid. You'll leave with a clear plan, not confusion.
Be in a state of wudu, in a quiet and private room, with a stable connection and your device positioned so your hands are free. Come with a sincere intention and certainty that healing is from Allah alone.
